Leipold Provides Injury Update Following Week 0 Victory

Kansas Head Football Coach Lance Leipold had his weekly press conference on Monday and provided an injury update for several Jayhawks. One of those Jayhawks who didn’t play was starting defensive end Dean Miller. “Dean practiced today. I’m feeling like he should be available. Gage Keys is probably still out. Jack Schneider will still be out. Dylan Brooks will be out. David Abajian will be out for the season as we’ve said before. Joe Sipp will be out.”

As for running back Leshon Williams, who ran for nearly sixty yards and a touchdown on six carries in KU’s Week 0 victory over Fresno State, Leipold said “questionable to doubtful”. Williams left the game in the third quarter holding his wrist/arm area. He is still listed on the depth chart ahead of the upcoming Week 1 matchup with Wagner, but seemingly could be limited or held out altogether given the short week and FCS opponent.
