KU WGOLF: Louderbaugh, Nordstedt Earn All-Big 12 Recognition

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas women’s golf had two golfers earn 2026 All-Big 12 recognition, the conference announced Friday. Junior Lyla Louderbaugh and sophomore Ebba Nordstedt were both named to the All-Big 12 Second Team.

“I am so happy for Lyla and Ebba earning All-Conference recognition this year,” Kansas head coach Linsday Kuhle said. “They both had a great year for us, both winning a college tournament and playing consistently well for us all season long.”

Louderbaugh and Nordstedt mark the seventh and eighth time a Jayhawk has earned All-Big 12 honors in program history. This is the first time in program history that Kansas has received two All-Big 12 selections in the same season. They join former teammate Lauren Clark (2025), Amanda Costner (2006, 2007), Emily Powers (2008), and Yupaporn Kawinpakorn (2014, 2016).

Louderbaugh competed in all 11 team events this season for the Jayhawks, recording four top five finishes, four top 10 finishes, eight top 20 finishes, and five rounds in the 60’s. Louderbaugh also recorded her second career win this year at the Yale West Invitational, with scores of 68-68-71 (-9).

Nordstedt has competed in nine events this season and finished as the top KU finisher in three tournaments. Nordstedt has tallied two top five finishes, three top 10 finishes, four top 20 finishes, and five rounds in the 60’s. Nordstedt also secured her first career win at the Marilynn Smith Invitational with scores of 63-71-73 (-6).

“Their work ethic, love for the game, and desire to continue to improve and develop is a pleasure to coach and I am so proud of them for earning this award. That showcases your season-long achievements,” Kuhle said.
